WHAT IS GRAND AMERICAN AUCTION CO.?

Grand American Auction Co. is a full service auction company founded by professional auctioneer, Jay Litchfield.

In short, we believe that the auction method of marketing is by far the best method to sell anything and everything; therefore we do.

Our core business is selling houses and everything in them at auction. We strive to grow in other areas of the auction industry as well, and have conducted regular sales in personal property, antiques, autos, boats, RVs, farm equipment, Livestock, Horses and more. There's not much that we haven't sold.

With over 18 years of auction experience in Tulsa's, and 2 years in Illinois,

" I have had the pleasure to work for many of the top auction companies in Tulsa before & since opening Grand American in 1998".

I have been called "Tulsa's Charity Auctioneer" due to the fact that I can't turn down any good charity. We have assisted in 374 Charity Auctions from 2005 thru 2009 for over $ 10.8 million dollars. I was honored to receive the Association of Fundraising Professional's "Pillar Award" in November 2005.

"The first auction I remember attending was in Illinois' farm country at the age of 6 years old where I remember the church ladies' pies more than anything else!" During college, I had the opportunity to work for the two top premier auctioneers that I know, Tommy Williams & Jack Lowderman at their auction house in Macomb, Illinois. I began my auction career carrying furniture through L&W's auction ring and setting up their personal property auctions. Shortly after moving to Tulsa in 1992, I had the opportunity to go to work for Tommy & Dean Williams at Williams & Williams Real Estate Auctions, gaining invaluable knowledge & experience. I just need to say thanks to everyone that has helped me learn along the way. I believe I am still learning the auction business, and will continue to do so until I leave this earth.

Jay is a licensed real estate associate with Keller Williams Realty and conducts all of the public real estate auctions hosted by Grand American Auction Co.
